What this place is
The Founder's Inn is a free weekly email for Shopify and ecommerce founders. Every Friday it rounds up what changed on Shopify that week, what moved in the wider industry, and the marketing and operator tips worth stealing, in about five minutes of reading. The blog on this site is the noticeboard between Fridays: the same stories, with more room to explain what they mean for a store.
Why it exists
Running a store means living with a changelog you did not ask for. Shopify ships constantly, apps change their pricing, ad platforms move the goalposts, and most of the commentary is either a press release or a 40-minute podcast. We wanted the version a founder would give another founder over a pint: here is what happened, here is whether it matters, here is what to do on Monday.

- Around the industry: ads, marketplaces, shipping, payments and DTC moves, with the context store owners need.
