Add shoppable videos to Shopify with Libautech
Import existing clips, tag the right products and test the path to checkout. Check the free-plan branding and current paid option before installing.
Libautech Shoppable Videos UGC lets Shopify merchants attach product purchase actions to existing video clips. Its App Store listing describes imports from TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, product tagging, and widgets for store pages. Shoppers can add a tagged product to their cart while viewing a clip.
The useful starting point is one relevant product demonstration, not a site-wide wall of autoplaying videos. This is a setup and review guide based on the vendor’s documentation, not a new-launch announcement or an independently measured conversion study.
Import, tag and place
The vendor’s March 2026 walkthrough explains importing a TikTok link, associating products and placing the video widget. Its current listing also describes carousels, grids and popups, plus customisable styles.
Start with footage you have permission to reuse. Check that the clip still matches the product being sold: packaging, colours, size, price and any spoken offer can become outdated even when the video still looks polished. Keep the creator’s approval and the original source link with your content records.
Test the purchase path
Our recommended acceptance check is to open the page on a phone, play the clip, select its product tag and inspect the cart. Confirm that the correct product and variant arrive, with the expected price and quantity. Repeat with an unavailable variant and with an item already in the cart.
Check that the widget does not cover the ordinary purchase button, interfere with keyboard navigation or make essential product information harder to find. Compare page loading and usability before and after adding it. A video view is not the same outcome as a completed order.
Check pricing at the point of installation
The live App Store listing checked on 20 October showed a free plan carrying Libautech branding and a US$9.99 monthly Pro option to remove it. The vendor’s product page still describes a single free plan, so use the current listing and installation terms to resolve that difference.
Review requested access and the placement options before activating the widget. For a first trial, choose one page and a defined measurement period, then decide whether the experience justifies broader use. Keep the original product description and purchase route usable without relying on video playback.
