Shopify Partners now manage payouts, billing and remaining Partner Dashboard settings in Dev Dashboard. The 27 October announcement changes where teams work, while preserving existing payout and billing settings.

Open Dev Dashboard, choose the organisation and go to Organization settings. Shopify says existing Partners do not need to take action to migrate their settings. New Partners also complete business verification there during setup.

Where to look

  • Organization details: business and contact information, emergency contact, App Store registration and Partner ID.
  • Payouts: setup, history, transactions and payout methods.
  • Partner billing: bills, advertising invoices, payment methods, invoice notes and ad credits.
  • Users → Security: Partner API clients.

The former Settings and Payouts links and Home payout widget have moved. Our recommendation is to update internal finance instructions and confirm that the people responsible can find their usual information. A changed navigation location is not, by itself, evidence that payment details need replacing.

Store-level support context is expanding too

A second release on 27 October adds store and app-install details. A store page brings together the organisation’s installed apps, its users with collaborator access, and earnings from apps, themes and recurring revenue share.

The per-app view shows gross lifetime earnings for that installation, installation and billing activity, the current subscription and quick access to store logs. Start from Stores, or open an app’s Overview, select the install count in the Installs card and choose the store. Available details depend on permissions and store access.

For a support team investigating a billing question, this provides a place to establish the sequence of events before answering. Check which app and store are selected, review the current subscription, and compare the activity with the merchant’s report. Do not interpret gross lifetime earnings as a particular payout or as net profit.

Keep the handover practical

Before the seasonal support rush, we recommend walking through one real support case and one finance task in the new location. Update saved instructions, check access with the appropriate team member and record any missing permission through the normal organisation process.

These announcements describe specific functions moving and new views becoming available. They do not establish that every Partner Dashboard function has disappeared. Use the relevant current screen rather than assuming an old bookmark or guide still describes the full workflow.
